Efficient Command Use in Midjourney

Hello everyone, did you all have a merry Christmas?
Today, I want to share a brief but useful tip. I’m going to introduce some efficient commands that you can use in Midjourney!

Midjourney

Midjourney is an excellent example of generative AI that creates images based on text prompts. It has become one of the most popular tools for creating AI art, along with Dall-E and Stable Diffusion. Unlike its competitors, Midjourney is self-funded and closed-source, so knowing exactly what’s under the hood is cloudy. We know that it relies heavily on machine learning technologies such as large language and diffusion models. The results are sometimes startling, always impressive, and can possess very realistic qualities.

3. Tips for Setting Detailed Options!

Midjourney is different from other platforms in that it doesn’t have an obvious space to write Negative Prompts. However, this means that you can include negative aspects and detailed matters all in one chat command. Below is a list of useful tips that you can refer to:

  • When you want to exclude something from your image: –no()

This command can be used during image generation as a Negative Prompt.
EX) A woman with long blue hair, wearing an oversized white hoodie, –no(sky, roads, legs)

  • When you want to set a specific generation rate for your image: –stop

The number you write determines the percentage at which the image creation will stop and give you the result.
EX) A woman with long blue hair, wearing an oversized white hoodie, –stop 60

  • When you want to choose the quality of the image: –q

Simply put, this is like a multiplier. It’s similar to upsizing the image you want to create, and you can use numbers like 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2.

4. Tips for Creating Various Art Styles!

Write /tune and then your desired prompt. This option allows you to select from 16 to 128 different styles.
