In simple terms, ComfyUI allows you to create your own AI character by generating accurate and detailed images based on the style, color, and composition of your input image.
Hello Everyone! It’s Been a While 😊
As we step into 2025, I’m excited to share some AI updates that I’ve been meaning to talk about for a while.
Last year was a busy one for me — I was preparing for my wedding and spent months creating a special animated video for my wife, which took up most of my time. If you’re curious about it, feel free to check out the video link below:

Creating Your Own AI Character with ComfyUI! 🎨
With so many AI platforms popping up lately, one thing that continues to amaze me is the rapid development of ComfyUI.
Today, I’ll walk you through how to use ComfyUI to generate unique AI images using your own face (or any face you like).
Don’t worry — it’s not as hard as it sounds! Just follow my steps, and you’ll be generating cool images in no time. 😎

🛠️ What You’ll Need
- ComfyUI
- IP-Adapter | FaceID Plus v2
- A face photo (yours or someone else’s)
Ready to dive in? Let’s get started!
1. What is ComfyUI?
ComfyUI is a Stable Diffusion-based open-source interface that lets you create image generation pipelines through a node-based system.
It allows users to visually combine and adjust models, prompts, filters, and post-processing tools like upscalers and denoisers.
You can download and install ComfyUI using the link below:

2. What is IP-Adapter?
IP-Adapter is an extension for ComfyUI that extracts visual features from an input image and incorporates them into the image generation process.
In simple terms, it helps the AI produce more accurate and detailed images based on the style, color, and composition of your input image.
For today’s guide, we’ll be using the Insight face for FaceID Plus v2 model.
You can see the easy way to install insight face from video below :
3. Downloading the Required Files
Once you’ve installed ComfyUI and Insight Face, make sure to download the following files and place them in the correct folders.
Place IP Adapter Model files in the ComfyUI\models\ipadapter folder.
Additionally, any LoRA files should be placed in the ComfyUI\models\LoRA folder.
✅ All Set? Let’s Get Started!
Download the JSON file below and load it into your ComfyUI.
🚨 Fixing Missing Nodes Error
If you see a red error message about missing nodes, simply go to ComfyUI Manager and click Install Missing Custom Nodes.

Once everything is installed, click Restart to refresh the interface.
Step 1. Upload Your Image
Find the Load Image node and upload your face photo or any face you want to use.
For example, I uploaded a photo of one of my favorite models i created:

After running several tests, I found that using a variety of images — such as front-facing, slightly angled, and profile shots — results in more diverse and interesting outputs during image generation.
Step 2. Select a Checkpoint Model
In this workflow, I’m using the Realistic Vision model.
You can use your usual checkpoint model or download the one I’m using from the link below:
Place the downloaded file in the ComfyUI\models\checkpoints folder and refresh your ComfyUI interface.

Step 3: Configure the IP Adapter
Set up the [IPAdapter Unified Loader FaceID] node as shown below.

Step 4: Generate Your Image
Finally, click the Queue Prompt button to generate your image!
You’ll notice that the generated image retains the key features of the uploaded face while following the style of your selected checkpoint model.

🚀 Final Thoughts: Create Your Own Story with AI
With these tools, you can easily create consistent characters for your story or animated series.
It’s amazing how far AI has come — from simple image generation to creating fully interactive and story-driven visuals.
I’ll be back soon with more AI updates.
Feel free to drop your thoughts or questions in the comments! 😊
Happy Creating! 🎉
