3. Web-UI Clone

Create a folder in your desired location (you can name it anything). In the address bar of this folder, type “cmd” to open the command prompt. It’s better if you create this folder inside an SSD.

Then, type the following command and press Enter:

git clone https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui.git

Wait a bit, and the code from the specified GitHub repository will be cloned. If you run the “dir” command, you should see a sub-directory named “stable-diffution-webui”.

4. Installing the Base Model

If you’re a first-time user of Web UI Stable Diffusion / Automatic1111, download the model from the provided link and place it in the necessary directory.

Place the downloaded Checkpoint base model in either the “Stable-diffusion” or “Automatic1111” folders.

Folder Path: WebUI -> Models -> Stable-diffusion

Similarly, place the downloaded Vae file in the “Vae” folder.

Folder Path: WebUI -> Models -> Vae

5. Execution

You’re almost done with the setup. You don’t need to download and install anything else. When you run the webui-user.bat batch file, it will download and install any necessary (updated) files and then AUTOMATIC1111 will launch. This means that each time you run webui-user.bat, it updates to the latest version.
