1. What is DeepAI?
DeepAI is an online platform that uses deep learning algorithms to generate artwork. The platform was created by a team of developers and artists who wanted to provide an easy-to-use tool for anyone interested in creating AI art.
DeepAI has used more than one technique to generate its artwork over the years. When it originally launched in 2016 it used a technique called Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs). GANs consist of two neural networks that work together to produce images. One network generates images while the other network evaluates them.
It now uses a technique called diffusion models. Diffusion models, also known as diffusion probabilistic models, are a class of latent variable models. DeepAI is not tied to any one technique or large language model. It’s committed to providing its users with the best AI generators available at the time.
2. What can DeepAI do?
DeepAI is a stripped-down text generation tool. As a result, its key feature is text generation, which can be used for:
- Finishing incomplete sentences

It uses OpenAI’s GPT-2 technology to generate text. You can type in virtually any text prompt, from incomplete sentences to research-based questions. Each time, the tool will automatically generate a full paragraph of text of up to around 100 words.
You might already know that there are many other cutting-edge AI text generators that can do this. But where DeepAI differs from most other AI text generators (and AI chatbots) is API integration.
So, overall, it’s simple but powerful and fast at generating text from input prompts. As an API, its text generation capabilities can also be integrated into other software apps, making it a potentially useful tool for developers.
3. How to use DeepAI?
In this blog post, we will explore how to generate AI art with DeepAI. We will cover everything from getting started to basic prompts and settings that can help you create your own unique artwork. So, buckle up and get ready to dive into the world of AI art!

Upon clicking the link to the DeepAI website, the first thing that captures your attention is a text box accompanied by the prompt, “What would you like help with?”
Scrolling down, you’ll find an array of diverse categories listed as follows:

For the purpose of this article, and in line with our previous discussions on text-based image processing, we’ll dive into the text-to-image feature.
Back to the prominent text box labeled “What would you like help with?” – this is where you can type in your desired prompt. Notably, right below this text box are two options: “Chat” and “Image”. Essentially, these options allow you to decide how you’d like to process the text you enter – would you like to engage in a chat format, or would you prefer to visualize your text into an image?
For experimentation’s sake, I typed in the word “Hello” into the box.

Clicking on the “Chat” button introduces you to a series of conversation windows that resemble the Chat GPT interface. Operating as a text-based artificial intelligence, it engages the user in a dialogue format to address questions or concerns. You can think of this feature as akin to the GPT functions we discussed in the previous article.
- Selecting the “Image” option for the “Hello” text results in:
Upon clicking the “Image” button, you’re presented with a representative image depicting “Hello,” along with a plethora of thumbnails based on various styles. The Image Generation option is essentially divided into three main components:
- Your desired prompt input
- Model choice (Standard / HD)
- Style selection
After inputting the prompt you wish to visualize, you can choose your preferred model and style, and then simply click on the “Generate” button to produce new images. It’s worth noting that while the HD model comes at a cost, those using the free version can still experiment and get a feel for the tool using just the Standard model.

You can input a detailed prompt value for the artwork you want to create. Unlike Stable Diffusion, which is divided into Positive/Negative, listing more detailed and accurate sentences or words is effective in obtaining better results.
- Model Choice
At its core, the model provided by DeepAI can be considered the source of the trained data. Regardless of the prompt provided, the image is processed based on the trained data to produce a result. DeepAI offers two versions: the free Standard version and the paid HD version. The HD model provides high-resolution processed results, benefits like ad removal, and a variety of options. If needed, it can be accessed through a subscription payment.

Literally, this is a tab where you can choose the style you desire. You can view more styles through the style gallery, and each unique style can enhance the quality and finish of the desired result.
