Hello everyone!
Today, I’m excited to introduce another revolutionary platform in the AI animation, Domo AI.
What is DomoAI?
The DomoAI App is an advanced artificial intelligence video generator tool. It specializes in transforming images and videos into various creative formats, including anime style. Its capabilities range from Image to Video to Video to Video transformations and more.
Shall we dive into experiencing Domo AI now?
1. DomoAI Website
You can access the DomoAI website through the link below.
Upon entering the Domo AI website, you’ll find reference videos of real-life footage reimagined in various styles, with a button in the center labeled “Join our Discord”. As I mentioned in the previous post, Domo AI also utilizes a Discord server to facilitate video creation, so please join Discord and participate in the Domo AI server!
2. DomoAI Discord
If you have ever used Midjourney, you’ll likely find the Discord UI quite familiar.
Please note that DomoAI is not a free service.
Initially, new users were given 100 credits to use the service for free, but as of April 12th, it has switched to a subscription-only model, and the free version is no longer available.
If you’re still hesitant about paying, use today’s session as a reference to help you decide whether to use this service or not.
As shown in the image above, typing “/” in the chat at the bottom of the Domo AI Discord server will display the commands available in Domo AI.
Today, we will focus on the key features and use the commands “/animate” and “/video”. There are many other features available, but I’ll only explain the core functions relevant to this video-based AI platform.
3. Image to Video
As shown, typing “/animate” will prompt a window that allows you to upload an image directly.
If you’ve read my previous post about Viggle AI, you’ll have a good idea of how to proceed. If you’re curious or need a refresher, please follow the link below to catch up!
–> Make your Character Dance with Viggle AI
After you upload the image you want to animate, as shown in the image, click the button next to it. This action will bring up a Prompt selection menu just above the chat area. Once the menu appears, you simply need to type your desired prompt into the message area.
I’ll use an image of an idol with pink hair, created by Midjourney, and for the prompt, I’ll simply type “dance” to see what kind of animation it generates. Let’s see how Domo AI brings this image to life with the command!
I set the Intensity to Low and the Generation time to 3 seconds in the settings before pressing the Start button!
Wow, the most astonishing aspect first off is that while the feel of the uploaded image remains intact, the visual color and style have transformed into a cartoon-like appearance.
Can you see the difference between setting the Intensity to Low and High?
Although I used a very simple prompt, resulting in no significant movements, there’s a noticeable smoothness in the animation when the Intensity is set to High. It really showcases the capabilities of adjusting settings to fine-tune the animation’s appearance and behavior!
4. Video to Video
Now let’s try creating a new video from an existing video source. I’ll go to any generate-video section in the DomoAI channel and type “/video” in the chat.
Just like before, instead of an image, upload a video and type in your prompt. I plan to test this using a video of “Yunamong,” a well-known dance influencer in Korea. I’ll enter the prompt “Japanese Animation Style” and proceed.
Once you see a settings window like the one above, you can customize the options to suit your preferences and then press the Start button to begin generating your new video. This feature allows you to transform real-life videos into different artistic styles, making it a powerful tool for content creators looking to add a unique flair to their videos.
Indeed, while taking 10 minutes to generate a 5-second video might seem long from a general perspective, it’s quite fast considering the technical complexities involved.
Wow!! Having tried various experiments based on many videos, I also think it’s remarkable to achieve such smoothness and a lack of flickering in the output. Even though it takes some time, it’s much faster than manually setting and customizing each parameter yourself—haha!
Despite the absence of a free version, which means you have to pay a subscription fee even to try it, the quality is such that I believe it’s possible to create even more spectacular and personalized animations through integration with other programs.
Today, I only talked about the video aspect, but next time I’ll share more about the other features of this platform. Stay tuned for more insights!
